South Beach Durban, – The tenants of 3 Bencorrum Buildings, along with a local Pastor, an entire Political Women’s League and residents of South Beach Ward 26 came together in a somber meeting to discuss the fate of Baby Chantenay Williams (2). The community has been deeply concerned about the child, who has been at the center of a battle between her grandmother and a woman who has been deemed an unstable narcist.
During the meeting, community members expressed their tears and frustrations over the fraudulent arbitrary information made to the social services about a Gran who has been caring for her Granddaughter since her birth. They claim that fraudulent emails and calls have been made by a “mad woman” who has been attempting to take baby away from her grandmother and into a home to payback for a protection order against her and her friends who attacked the Gran. The community is outraged, worried about the future of Baby Chantenay.
In a show of solidarity, the community and the local pastor have joined forces to support the grandmother and persue that Baby Chantenay is able to go home to her grandmother. They have vowed to do everything in their power to protect the child and ensure that she remains in her safe and loving environment at home. The community has also reached out to local authorities to order, intervene and prevent any harm from coming to Baby and Gran.
They are also urging the public to come forward with any information that may help in resolving this situation. and will continue to stand together in support of this cause.
The are calling on the authorities to take swift action and put an end to the threats against the child and her grandmother. The community is determined to see justice served and will continue to stand in solidarity until Baby Chantenay is safely back in the arms of her loving grandmother.
A letter to Social Services states “
This is the community of ward 26, which is inclusive of Pastor M, as well as the residents in the Bencorrum mews, Bencorrum towers and Bencorrum main section, together with the women’s league, plus residents of South Beach.

Baby is now on fraudulent claims at:
Malvern children’s home, an orphanage she does not belong.
The granny did a protection order against the members who attacked her. This family is very troublesome to us the tenants. They have now fraudulently given fake information about a good family lady. Please return an innocent child home to her granny who is our CPF sector member and a youth guide over the past 2 decades in ward 26. This gran and baby are split up based on lies from this same family who forces themselves authority over the lives of other people to make them suffer via verbal and physical abuse and threats. We would love to see 2 innocent souls united, which is our buildings little Shantenay and gran Tanya Williams . I am personally fond of the little one. The social worker did indeed not take the proper steps, otherwise she would know who the gran is, and what she duties in our lives and our community since 2003.
Clearly whatever screening she did if any, she did not do a good job at all. Over 200 parents and youth from various commumities can stand witness to Tanya Williams most definitely! No woman would allow any such rubbish as reported in our building of this fake information received about the child? No ways would we allow it! Please return Shantenay back from Malvern childrens orphanage, to her gran Tanya. Thank you. Communities ALL IN KNOWLEDGE OF THE BIOGRAPHY OF TANYA AND CHANTENAY WILLIAMS.
